1. Intermediary Status & Declaration
Mmm (MmmApp.in) acts as an Intermediary as defined under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Under Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000, Mmm provides a communication platform for users to connect and chat anonymously. Mmm does not initiate transmission, select receivers, or modify communication contents.
2. Strict 18+ Adult Requirement
Access to Mmm is strictly restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Persons under the age of 18 (minors) are strictly prohibited from using or attempting to access this service. Any attempt by a minor to access the platform will result in immediate permanent device banning and reporting where required by law (POCSO Act, 2012).
3. Prohibited Content under Rule 3(1)(b) IT Rules 2021
Users shall NOT host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update, or share any information that:
- Belongs to another person and to which the user does not have any right;
- Is grossly harmful, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, or invasive of another’s privacy;
- Involves non-consensual sharing of intimate media, extortion, or blackmail;
- Harms minors in any way (POCSO Act compliance);
- Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights;
- Deceives or misleadingly impersonates any person or entity;
- Threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order.
4. Enforcement & Law Enforcement Cooperation
Mmm maintains automated real-time moderation and tripwires. Violations of these Terms will lead to immediate device bans. In compliance with lawful orders from authorized Indian government authorities and courts, Mmm will cooperate and provide connection metadata in accordance with Rule 3(1)(j) of the IT Rules 2021.
5. Grievance Redressal
If you witness or are subjected to prohibited content, report it immediately to our Grievance Officer via our Grievance Page or email support@mmmapp.in.
