Privacy Policy & Data Notice

Last Updated: July 2026 · Governing Jurisdiction: Republic of India

1. Strict Zero-Chat Storage Guarantee

Mmm (MmmApp.in) is an instant anonymous chat platform. We operate on a strict Zero Chat Log Policy.

What is NOT saved:

We do NOT save, record, archive, or transcribe any text messages, chat transcripts, media, or conversation history. Real-time messages are transmitted directly over ephemeral, in-memory WebSocket connections and wiped instantly upon socket disconnection.

2. Metadata Collection & CERT-In Compliance

Under the Indian Cyber Security Directions issued by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) under Section 70B of the Information Technology Act, 2000, internet intermediaries are mandated to maintain ICT system logs for a rolling period of 180 days within Indian territory.

The system metadata we record strictly includes:

  • Anonymized Cryptographic Device Token / Hash (randomly generated)
  • Connection IP Address
  • HTTP User-Agent & Browser Header
  • Timestamp of matchmaking request and session end

This metadata is stored securely in cloud databases pinned to Indian data center regions (ap-south-1 Mumbai) and used exclusively for cyber threat deterrence, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

3. Rights Under the DPDP Act 2023

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), users in India hold statutory rights regarding their personal data, including the Right to Information, Right to Correction, and Right to Erasure.
